Okay I finished it and it wasnt as bad as people say it is, it wasnt as frustrating as stories I’ve read before (because MC isn’t the typical helpless pushover, and the ML isn’t a typical obssessive-possessive control freak rapist), overall I’d say the story was more in the middle than really bad, like it was chill. Rather than bad or frustrating, I actually liked it, time skip skipped over parts that would’ve been frustrating and jumped immediately to the interesting parts of the story, and all throughout I liked how it proceeded immediately with the chasing arc tbh instead of dragging the toxic contract. There wasn’t any annoying misunderstandings either, so this getting too much hate is a bit extreme considering there are more stories with bad characters, dragging toxic parts just for the sake of it, creating miscommunication as a plot device, etc. OVERALL it was really chill, and if I had to point out a part I didn’t like was that it was a bit cliche and boring tbh
