okay i agree but like the author added SA for what purpose. it’s just one of those things thats extremely hard to stomach or condone even given the character’s “not-so sound mind”
And I absolutely agree the author could have gone about this a different way, not condoning rape at all, my point is from the way we see Aaron through the story his possessive toxic tendencies were shown so this wasn’t a surprise and I was confused at seeing the way people were painting him as this gentle green flag, plus the disappointment when 9/10 yaoi stories employ this trope either in small ways or huge ones like this chapter and flashlight didn’t exactly give off the impression that it will be any different from the start
I think this obsession with characters needing to be correct all the time is nawt it because stories can be morally questionable and still enjoyable (it’s literally yaoi), some forget that aaron had a gun to yujin’s head the first time they had sex and also forced him to give him a blowjob out in the open in his cabriolet car like he was never a green flag lmfao, not saying what he’s doing is right I miss their old dynamic too but let the story develop and the angst do its thing
