okay so i really don’t like where this story is going and i am about to drop it but i want to believe it will get better bc i’ve been yearning for season 1 ever since this season started. but at the same time when i think about it, aaron is clearly not in the right state of mind and i dont think he ever were. ofc that doesn’t excuse the rape or make what he did any less horrible, but i feel like we kinda knew he might become a dangerous person from the start. he was always so possessive of yujin and kept meddling in his problems, and i think he’s always been like this. he just knew how to keep it under control because he already had yujin to himself, maybe not fully but he was with his side. even before yujin ran away, there were already signs that aaron wanted to isolate him from everyone around him, and i think we subtly saw that he wanted to keep yujin all to himself to the point where he wouldn't let him leave. if i remember correctly there are also scenes where he deliberately pushes people away from yujin and looking back, i feel like those were already signs of how far his possessiveness could go. i don’t think this is necessarily a completely new side of aaron we’re seeing, but more like what happens when he loses the control he thought he had over yujin and how the disappointment he feels over that loss affects his behavior aaand also how this possessiveness turns into an obsession
