I mean i don't think they're "in love", ren was young when he met haru, haru is having some mental health issues I mean your adopted, you feel like your mother doesn't care/love you so yeah he's a teenage boy with a mental health issues, ren didn't have any way to interact with others cuz his mind is already set that his inlove with haru, haru on the other hand feels like ren is a saving grace? It's hard to tell when both pov's are showed but At the same time I don't hate their dynamics because they found comfort from Each other, haru deserve a unconditional love ren too, the adults in this manga is neglectful and only cares about themselves at the end of the day it was the adults who let it happen, haru was 17 when he met ren so yeah for sure the adults should've done something when they noticed something off but they just accept like it was nothing it's so weird yet comforting and the same time because two broken people find comfort on Each other I'm happy for them but at the same not.
