It's like the author accidentally loaded an execution bullet in her pen and executed Gyeol's character in an empty parking lot just to torture Yeseung lmao...
Like I know he's been written as animalistic ever since the beginning, nobody can deny that he's a man of impulse and he has been that way, but for the last 2-3 chapters... He is simply acting like all his braincells went missing. There's a limit For Gyeol to be THAT obtuse to Yeseung's shattered mental state, to pass his nerves on Yeseung, to express his anger the exact same way his lover's abuser does, it just becomes super unsatisfying to watch Gyeol talks like a conservative alpha-man loser ("I'll knock you up so that you'll be completely mine" --> fucking pathetic!!), it's so cringe-inducing holy shit, especially in this context. If they were just having regular couple sex then sure go ahead, this could just be some very unsexy dirty talk and I would not really care; but here Gyeol is using sex to get back at Yeseung for something that's not even his fault, while knowing that Yeseung is traumatized by that type of behavior... So Gyeol shut upppppp wrong timing brother. And the fact that the angry sex lasts for more than 1 chapter... It's alarming for the future of this "couple"
How the fuck is this dude the same guy from the end of S1 who saw how stressed out Yeseung was and tried to be a safe space for him ? Bro you are the danger lol If you think I'm joking, go back and read chap 24 & 25 when Gyeol comforts Yeseung. You'll remember how yes, Gyeol is shown as being rough and he doesn't mince his words, but he is still, in hiw own way, mindful of Yeseung's trauma and he sees that he shouldn't harass him with it. I'm aware that characters can devolve and not evolve and that it still counts as a character arc, that's definitely what's happening to Gyeol here. But it's really uncertain why the author is doing this. Is she doing this to Gyeol because she actually has a great arc for him to go through, or is it just... Because she likes making Yeseung suffer more and more, and she realized that if the old perv was the only one torturing him it would get repetitive ? I think it's the latter :/ Aaaand she assassinated Gyeol's character for those "steamy" forceful sex scenes lmao
Anyway can we get a seach party for Gyeol's missing braincells ? He needs them asap for the next chapter or else he'll just join the Generic-Stupid-Sex Pest-Asshole Tops Association, poor him...
