I agree the pacing is good plus chase was already trying to put the pieces together to who the other parent was
i think its cos we are just really used to swiping fast, and not pacing according to the flow of the story so it might feel rushed.
Idk maybe cos yall swipe too fast? Are yall expecting a 3 chapter monologue of revealing a 1 sentence declaration? (Dear benj did that and i was at my wits end cos of that dumbass felix felice) (not in accusatory tone just suggesting)
It was okay paced for me i reread it again and spent like 10 seconds every panel at a pace of a disney climax scene. (Also dont forget that novel adaptation are often adjusted cos of budget pacing and appropriation for the diff media. a novel is literally the cheapest form of media so authors can have it as long expressive and time consuming as they want)
