I’m in love with the story, the characters and the art. The protagonist is so well written and has so much care put into his story, it’s very easy to care for him and hope he has a happy ending. Also, the other characters including the romantic interest are soooo interesting, I even find myself taking a high interest in the way of thinking of the villains I love the beginning and the way it presented abuse, so realistic: the reaction, the fawning, lister sometimes being “nice” and turning cruel in a second. I fucking hate him so much but still wonder about his way of thinking, has he always been this evil and just never acted on it? The love interest is just as engaging as the mc. Love how his adoration seems realistic and he always speaks his mind, being completely honest with mc, in a story like this you can start distrusting the characters easily, but he seems so genuine. The plot is very good and it’s easy to get into it. I also find myself caring even for very minor characters, it feels like the townsfolk are part of the story, not background and random lines. This, I think, it’s one of my favorite parts, the care in which the autor and artist treats each character, no matter how small and irrelevant. The despair that the protagonist suffers when remembering or just thinking about his past self is sooooo depressing and hurts me. I love him so much and can relate to his pain, the humiliation and the desperation, the longing for connection he still feels even if he doesn’t remember his lover
