I my thing is, why chase when you could literally have him? He might hate you yea, but you were literally in a position where you could’ve owned him like a dog. I’d rather embrace a toxic relationship where WE have the upper hand, not the other way around. Like I would’ve been motivated after he treated her like crap during their second meeting in the late empress garden

I get she loves the guy but I will never be empathetic over a women throwing her life away for one. It's okay to loose and give up, not everything should be chased, if it's not meant to be it simply isn't and that should give you a sense of relief.
