It would be better to read the main story as well since there’s backstory to their characters
From the couple scenes I’ve seen, I’m actually more interested in the side couple’s dynamic than the main couple’s. Do I need to read the main storyline to understand their (side couple) story, or can I jump straight into the side stories where they’re the main focus? I’m wondering what details I should know beforehand, if any.
