to the people rightfully disappointed about chaeon leaving behind eve. eve senses from chaeon that he actually doesn’t want to leave from the emotional assimilation thing he has and destroys the battery chaeon needed to leave the planet to make him stay. chaeon gets mad at eve and when he gets alone time he concludes that he can’t leave eve alone (yea bro the emotional dependency hits hard when you live by yourself for 200ish years). ep. 20 is the season finale which I haven’t read but based in my limited knowledge I think they’ll have make up sex and potentially leave the planet together?? they were both in space suits from what I saw so idk
