Alright let's write it again.
It's just so refreshing to see our Mogu being so adamant about not being neither a guy or a girl :) because for me, it's a very hard thing to do haha.
It just feels like such a burden for others if I tell them about my gender identity. I really dislike being identified with pronouns. Naturally, they/them also falls into that category. And if I were to ever tell this to anyone, I would feel like such an... ungrateful/unreasonable person..? Because it's like if someone asked you: "Do you want this or that? (he/him or she/her) and I say I don't want any of them. So, they go out of their way to find other things and ask me: "What about these?" (they/them, shi/hir, heesh/herm and etc.) and I still refuse. You get what I mean? :,)
Additionally, pronouns are of such vital importance in our everyday conversations. It isn't something someone could get rid of easily... because I prefer always being addressed by my name rather than any sort of pronoun. Like can you imagine someone going: "Oh, Mogu likes strawberry because when Mogu was really young Mogu saw a strawberry that Mogu had never seen before lying on the ground..." </3 It's just so odd right..? But that would actually be what I prefer. And It's not that there aren't any kind people in my life who would do that for me... It's just that if they slip up, they would definitely apologize and then I would just feel really bad and regret ever telling them.
Well, past the point. :) I'm so happy I'm fine enough to at least share my opinion here because all the people who read this won't be interacting with me often haha.
So happy I'm being represented in a certain way in a work for once !! :) I know we're like in a very 'open-minded' day and age, but there really is so much room for improvement. There are still so many people afraid of speaking up for themselves and there is little representation of these people too because they remain more of a minority. (My they refers to many people here btw) Or at the very least those works are a bit harder to find than others.
