i read this when i was 16 i think, i reread it now and i have to say this story is SO TRAGIC like where are the happy times in comparison to the sad moments?? Jaerim constantly getting picked on, even if jokingly by friends, getting bullied, getting hurt, trying to be patient and positive with Yuri ( i feel for him as someone who got bullied in school for being ugly too ╮(￣▽￣)╭ )
Then whe have the whole fiasco with Yuri.. he's studying hard, he has to be nice to everyone since ppl flock around him like crazy, his one sided love at the beginning ( justified nonetheless) and he too is getting judged for his looks "you are the problem, if it wasn't for you" or "he can't be gay, he can't be tainted" then his backstory, one of his best friends saying he wants him dead, he used to help everyone and not judge ppl by their looks just like Jaerim, the way he used to be such a happy and innocent sweetheart just for him to lose everything (i'm about to cry again) the way he said he should've died together with his family that day ╥﹏╥
He has to work three part-time jobs and is a role model inside the student council.. LIKE WHERE ARE THE SWEET STORIES OF HIM AND JAERIM BEING HAPPILY TOGETHER?? i've seen them frown and cry so many times i could count the times i've seen Yuri smile on two hands
