It's nice that they're coming together, but to be honest, I expected some character development from Dohu after their time apart. I wanted to see him become more humble, offer a genuine apology, and patiently try to win Juheon over.
I remember someone commenting that Dohu's actions this season seem to be "tinted with condescension" toward Juheon, and that might sound harsh, but there's some truth to it.
Expectations: I'm truly sorry for hurting you. Please give me another chance.
Reality: I know you still love me. Date me for X months.
I understand that the author might be trying to stay consistent with Dohu's autistic-like personality, but I still wanted to see him make a genuine effort to earn Juheon's trust and affection again, rather than act as though Juheon's feelings for him are already a given.
A little more vulnerability and humility from Dohu, along with the softness of someone willing to patiently win over the person he loves, would have made their reconciliation so much more satisfying.
