I don't like how ml resented Anette when she in fact was oblivious with all of his trauma and abuse that he endured when he was in her father's army(?). I can't hate Anette at all since she was given a life devoid of misery. I can actually get that he puts all the hatred to his father and the monarchy(or whatever that is) but fl's misery and suicide attempts are actually very nice way of the story to get revenge on him.
