I'm 100%, their experiment keeps failing. They probably succeed in the stage where they manage to make a man pregnant but in all cases ig the "mother" dies during childbirth, hence that one scene where there are lots of surgeon and someone dead on the ot and them saying "we failed again". It's sad cus this means mc's friend is about to die too. Oh well I'm out I was rooting for the janitor but ig that route is closed now
