I reread ts because I forgot the lore and I keep thinking that the fact how Taeui actually comes to like Rick might be due to the fact that he was never really surrounded by people who actually were good for him, like I just feel like they didn't love or respect him or respect his opinion and he seems to be used to it like how the first time we see Rick and Taeui be intimate in like that jail or smt Taeui doesn't seem to want to be but just gives up quickly when he couldn't get out of his hold like no nothing his attitude is very 'whatever' Even with his family yes his brother is ok but they still are distant due to reasons and the uncle doesn't seem to care much about him emotionally...
