I remember reading this a few years ago. At that time, the plot wasn't very romance centric. No matter how much the author tried teasing about the possible romance, we'd never get the satisfaction. I ended up dropping it also because it kept dragging on. But it's nice to see that they did end up together...? Although I think I read some spoilers that would ruin this sweet memory for me.
