i don’t think it’s more than ten years. they made the blondie an adult so they could still explore the teacher x student taboo without making it adult x minor but i would still say the power dynamics make the situation definitely very icky. it’s not the worse but i do turn my brain off every time they emphasize the teacher x student thing. honestly don’t understand why they couldn’t just make the blonde a college student if they were gonna make him a student.
no i agree, cause making him 20 was just a cheap escape to make it more smutty and explicit. the same sentiments would have still applied if this was a college setting, cause student x teacher dynamics are considered taboo no matter what age. i’m just confused by this choice.
