They spend a lot of chapters constructing something just to solve it in the most anti climactic way possible. They waste so much time lying to each other and convincing themselves that the other person wouldn’t understand when in the end just one conversation after everything exploded in their faces was enough. Over and over again.
The story tries so hard to convince you that the characters are “good” that Letio and the witch are never punished for their crimes. Like what so you mean saying sorry is enough to atone for ruining the life of people you supposedly care about? Specially when he did it intentionally every time. And I have to feel bad that he didn’t get a happy ending? He got more than he deserves.
And why would you make the FL the strongest knight on the empire just for her to be powerless every time and have her saved by the prince. Same with her brother, he’s only supposed to be weaker than her but somehow he’s always useless, there to make trouble or be bait.
What an infuriating read, I felt constantly rage bated.
