bl and yaoi are different. nowadays people usually categorize yaoi as bl and bl as yaoi, but its not that. yaoi is over sexualized, super smutty bl. bl on the other hand is just the gay genre between men as a whole. i consider ks a bl because of its lgbtq aspects, even if there is not love involved. it falls under the category. it just isn’t a yaoi like some claim.
