Actually, I love Veronika. I think she’s a great character, but I think my dislike comes not from her, but from how the authors just used the one female character to create a love interest so there would be romance, even when there’s barely any groundwork for it. Like, I feel like we haven’t seen any type of romantic shit at all. She’s just a girl who’s talented and everything, and boom! They just have to add romance. And is it just me, or did they skip a few pages or something? We suddenly jump to them being fiancés, but I don’t even know where that came from.
