I remember when this first came out in like 2017 and it was still a fresh R15 story and I stopped reading it because it was so slow. And I just never picked it back up. Over the years I kept seeing it pop up every now and again and thinking, wow this is still ongoing?? And now literally almost ten years later seeing it everywhere again and almost everyone unanimously agreeing the last season sucked ass and should have never happened bruh I feel so bad for y’all that were invested in this legit. Came here just to give my sympathies….
I bet the author went through some shit and wanted to express it creatively with a series they created that was already famous, and it seems to have not aged well. It has literally been almost a decade since the work was published. From some of the online discourse I see rn, my conclusion is that it seems like the author should have created a whole new series separately with new characters all together instead of ruining characters and a story that people seemed to love already!
My two cents lol I never got around to reading it and all the warnings I’ve been seeing make me glad I didn’t
