As someone who fears abandonment and witnessing loved ones get hurt (ESPECIALLY when they refuse my help), makes me deeply understand why Yang Il Woo decided to leave Baekhee. He's been on Baekhee's side for so long. Waiting countless days to simply tell him the truth, hoping that would change their relationship for the better. Yang Il Woo definintely still loves Baekhee, but too much that it's starting to hurt him (as he also respect's Baekhee's boundaries and would hate to intervene)
The impact of Yang Il woo has been nothing but positive for the past three months (aside from inital greeting) Interesting -- Around Chp 1~10 ish, Baekhee was always the one who reached out. Now that Yang il started caring for him, Baekhee re-tracts. The tables slowly turn.. Yang Il Woo's reaching out and Baekhee's purposefully avoiding it.
The strength it takes to help someone is almost equally as draining. It's selfless and vulnerable. For something like that to be rejected, I can't imagine how much strength Yang Il has to push through even further to keep on living.
I genuinely can't imagine how the chapters will pan out after this, considering Jang Baekhee's POV was 18 chps long (now Yang il woo's POV finally reached 18 too)
