Imagine being part of a race that’s been slaved and abused for years, forced to endure the cruelty of their oppressors while being denied even the bare minimum, having to risk their lives every single day just to survive, with barely any hope of making it through... And then, after a popular revolution, the tables turn, and you find yourself in a position of “power,” with the chance to make those who hurt you suffer the exact same way you did.
Honestly, I don’t judge the ones who stayed, the ones who wanted blood for blood. The victims are entitled to the justice they deserve, whatever they need to go through their healing process. That’s non-negotiable.
But these Goblins, these little “savage” and “uncivilized” creatures who, even after being subjugated and slaughtered for the masses amusement, still chose to turn their backs on their former oppressors and seek a future for themselves... THAT speaks volumes about their maturity and wisdom. And honestly, I’m not even sure I could’ve done the same in their shoes. All I can feel is immense pride in them. White Lion, you raised these kids so well
