I love you Hana. She's such a gentle soul, and she had to grow up too fast. I'm really happy that she's grown and learnt how to accept and reflect on her feelings, and this is a prime example of someone who is a good person. I want to see a timeskip Hana!!
A thing I really like about this manhwa is how well woven-in every character is. I love Yoonbin and Young, and they're wonderfully written too, but this story manages to focus well on everyone in balance. There's lots of stories out there that can't write about anybody/any relationship aside from the main two characters, and even when they do slightly explore outside of that sole relationship, they usually only do so shallowly. But TLIGY delves into the intricacies of the every connection between characters, take for example—the depth of sangwook and young's relationship, it's something that is hard to put into words, yet this story embodies it exceptionally well. The good, the bad, the ugly... it takes it all into account. then there's Hana and Yoonbin's relationship, which is so profound and pure that it brings me to tears. And even Young and Hana's mom's companionship, it's so sweet, simple in the most complicated of ways. Young and Eunseo, Young and his subordinates, Yoonbin and Master Bang... basically every relevant relationship is well thought out and brings colour to the story.
One of my favourite scenes is when Sangwook says "look how much you've changed" in response to Young. It's kind of a defining moment for Young's personal growth and change incited by Yoonbin's return in his life. He's really grown so much. They both have. This is what I consider true love, wanting to change for someone. The kind of love where they inspire you to be better, to try your hardest, to show them that you love them too.
That brings me to talk about Yoonbin and Young's relationship. From the very beginning, it's been unconventional, and it's another thing that is hard to comprehend, to put into words. But I think, the most important part is, that they were there for each other, even if they didn't know it. Young was Yoonbin's angel, a miracle that brought the light back to his eyes, and Yoonbin was Young's little star, the hope that kept him going. It's beautiful. That's the only word for it. And even more so, they continue to be there for each other. They trust each other, they believe in their love for one another. Everynyan, take notes. This is TRUE LOVE.
Now... last but not least... THE SEXUAL TENSION THIS CHAPTER GOES CRAZYYYY HOT DAMN!!!! I'm so hard already
