There are boarding schools like this that are legitimate but there are so many more that aren’t. You put your kid into a school like this and they get abused and you can’t contact your kid until they get out. I’ve seen so many news articles of parents not knowing a child needed urgent medical care and was denied it. They beat the kids and used fear to control them and would convince the kids that the parents don’t love them and don’t care for them and that’s why the parents aren’t coming for them. They don’t get breaks, they barely get any time to sleep and they aren’t allowed to speak unless spoken to. I really really have to warn everyone against these types of places. If you cannot see your child whenever you want and if you cannot get into contact with your child whenever you want, you’re setting your child up for a dangerous situation that they won’t be able to escape from. Please don’t be the parent who puts grades over safety.
