I fucking love this manga. I read it awhile ago when I was younger, maybe two years ago. I remember thinking it was great. But now that I’m coming back to it after having had a relationship… wow. It just makes me appreciate Kanae and Haiga more. I just LOVE the way Kanae’s person is portrayed. HES SOOOOO FUCKINH RELATABLE. He’s so unsure for the majority of the manga, even when Haiga is the character portrayed as the most unsure. Kanae’s unsureness is so deeply rooted from a place of wanting to be loved. UGHHH IT MAKES MY CHEST HURT.
Also. “You got to understand if you want for that person to be happy, or for you to be the one to make that person happy” (definitely not the exact words). That quote just brought a new clarity.
