I think this whole cycle repeats itself evertime they both die. Jinwoo betrayed Guwon in every Lifetime and died shortly after (because of the hounds or maybe even Guwon himself) and the townspeople died too. So nobody remembers their passt life amd the Dreams Jinwoo has are actually memories. And I also think that everybody's memory Kind resets after dying so that's why nobody remembers after coming back to life....k
