took me long enough

after years of putting this off, i have finally started reading this manwha. binge reading since i finished in one sitting.

this right up my alley. i love dark, twisted characters that are just made up for each other and fuck themselves up so much, only so that in the end they come to terms with their pasts and live somewhat normally and happily. also, as someone with BPD cirrus' character was very shameful to read. i understand what he was feeling, why he was feeling it, the shame, the lies, the fear of being abandoned, the lack of self esteem, the favorite person, the way he never valued his presence and was always shocked that his friends cared about him. i don't know if the author did this willingly or not, but he was exactly how my mind looks. it was fun reading someone doing what i force myself to stop at just thoughts.

for me, candy was a sensitive spot. what cirrus and candy have is what me and my 18 yo baby boy cat have since i was 8. i am also depended of him and him getting older is chipping at my mental health everyday. it was a beautiful portrayal of a child clinging to anything they could just to endure another day. just to feel unconditional affection.

i am saddened by the fact it only has 130 chapters, i believe these chapters could've been longer or more of them. but i understand that some authors do not wish to drag their works. for whatever reason. tho it certainly feels rushed at the end. i can understand that the actions happening in the last chapters wasn't part of the central themes of the story, some may argue they do. an ending is more important than we think

will certainly re-read
