I mean, I think it depends on the person. Alot of people are not mentally equipped to deal with stress properly, and I think the uploader overall was just excited and happy to share this story with everyone that the negative voices got to them quickly. Someone is actively making alt accounts JUST to rate the story 1 star, its a very dogshit move and I think that the uploader doesnt want to drag the story down just because people dislike her and stalk her to hate her. Its just disheartening.
Maybe it’s because I’ve never really understood the rating system, and also never used it regarding choosing stories. I usually use the comments to get a gauge of where the story lies and what it’s about. So with that being said, I truly don’t understand why the review bombing gets under skin so much. It’s just bots and NPCS that have shit to say, but you can clearly see the support of people who genuinely take the time to read a story and enjoy the translation work of it all.
I’m not trying to invalidate the experience of the translators, because I’m sure it’s upsetting having people tear into just because of your opinions on the internet, but at the same time just ignore them. Like it’s so easy to tune people out and keep doing your own thing especially if it’s on the Internet.
I appreciate the translators for translating as much as they could as much as it’s disappointing that review bombing is the reason for its full stop. I’ll appreciate whoever translate this with sincerity and integrity. This story is genuinely too good for someone to just give it up and let it fester on this site like it’s not going to be forgotten about now. Jfc anyways!!!!
