hyosins family (not sure ab the dad) are so supportive of his dreams and believed in him even after he “abandoned” it, they never gave up and same with jungseo.

i understand why hyosin discarded it as he was faced with negative remarks, even though he was the one that instigated it, i think its just that he never had that kind of ongoing unrestrained support that caused his downfall since he had high expectations of himself as well as from others (because they praise him on being a genius so it accumulates the pressure).
so i can see why he acted like that, which ultimately led his relationships to go astray and felt like he to could not go on. im still not excusing him for being a dickhead to his past teammates, i’d be pretty fed up to if i only get insulted criticism rather than receive constructive criticism.
so with jungseo coming into his life, the very first person that believed in him undoubtedly and genuinely supported his passion and dreams, made his anxiety he had to keep up with others kinda vanish(?) and caused them to reflect more on their wrongdoings, which we see when he was giving a lesson with the amateur guitarist.
and from that realisation too, that perhaps the people he was with felt inferior to him hence why they couldnt handle feedback.

i really like the story, its honestly a good balance and doesnt dance around heavy topics and the character building is decent and the pacing of the story. even though its hinted i do want to know more about what hyosin actually thought of jungseo back in highschool, cause all we see from his pov is recounting jungseo’s lines.
