U should try reading the novel, it's so good
The main story is gonna end soon. Taeui just accepts the fact that he loves a monster. He wants to be with him. No, there is not Stockholm syndrome because Teaui is very much well aware that Ilay is a bad person and never tries to justify or romanticise it or anything. There's no redemption for Ilay ( which is something I personally like) because he is a psycho. But The shocking part is the next book which has a bit of time skip. Honestly it's the best book in the series and can feel the love between Ilay and Teaui. They treat each other so well you can't help loving them. Ilay's karma is that he can't see Teaui in pain ( Teaui keeps getting hurt because he keeps throwing himself in danger situations) so much that he hired the Anti Riot team to assassinate him when Teaui dies. You can call this a villain's story where he gets the MC and the MC genuinely falls for him. And yes Ilay also loves and Obsessed with Teaui so as long as Teaui doesn't leave him everything is good.
Can any novel readers spoil me on what's goin to happen after this? How will it progress? When will they actually be lovey Dovey of some sort?
