I can see why some people are upset as the pacing in the middle of the story is a little hectic, and some scenes are confusing to read and not fleshed out enough, but I feel that overall the story wasnt that horrible The ending was satisfying enough for me personally. I really enjoy the main couple. I do wish there was some more development outside of their story, but I don’t mind it too much. Also i saw someone complaining about Rishar being upset when Ettiene would push him away for the sake of their lives but TBH its not that crazy for him to do I see it as just apart of his childishness
