Not always. Psychopaths don't always present the same. Even they don't necessarily feel emotions, they can still feel a sense of like/dislike for things. Like when Ilay called Taeui. He liked it. And he wanted to keep feeling that. And it's also because Ilay was so spoiled that he was cocky and arrogant even as a child.
