Why is using an umbrella gay ?

So I have no idea why but growing up, boys genuinely think it’s more emasculating to get wet than to not get wet. Like using an umbrella was a feminine thing… really stupid yea

I think it's becuz since 2010 was a weirdly homophobic era, and he's really self-conscious around Morgan, he just came up with that conclusion. It could also be becuz he was previously bullied, and now he's hyper aware of his actions and what others think of him.
