This is so cool. Im predicting either the MC dies in this scene and then come back, realizing he's in a time loop just like Guwon did. OR he breaks the cycle and is able to stop the time loops from happening. Since its called hounds of sisyphus, im curious if the hounds are involved. Maybe the girl was so obsessed with Guwon that when he first died, maybe by the hands of the villagers, they (or she) found a way to reverse time. Anytime it would be a "failed" run, time would reset but each time the MC would get flashbacks to those lives hinting to it and Guwon would feel something was up. He did mention how he knew something was up but didnt know exactly, and that would explain why his eyes arent exactly natural and he's just following what the hounds are doing.
This is just my theory but im so excited to see what direction this goes and learn more about those bodies.
