I thought the same thing, about Gunwoo's scars, in the past couple chapters. The time loop, and the semes scars, reminded me of another time loop story. I forgot the name (it's about a zombie apocalypse), but it was similar in that regard.
Im just putting my crazy thought out here. What if the kids are the future hounds? Thats why they are worshipping Gunwoo so hard. Cause what we know so far is they are in a loop, and the stitches on Gunwoo’s body is more likely from all his deaths. Especially when the girl beheaded him exactly on his neck stitches, it just looks too convenient?
