Sisyphus was a lying king from Greek mythology that was condemned to pushing a rock up a hill forever as punishment. The “hounds” belong to Guwon, which would imply that he is Sisyphus in this case (according to the title). Now that a timeloop or something similar is being hinted at, this makes a lot of sense. Being forced to repeat time/ an unchangeable fate could be seen as a cursed eternity like Sisyphus'.
Btw I’m not a novel reader or anything this is just my interpretation so far. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
Well Sisyphus was a king who pissed off Zeus, cheated death twice, and then when he finally died of old age was made to push a boulder uphill for all eternity as punishment.
When I say he cheated death twice, the first instance he trapped one of the Gods (some stories say Thanatos (basically grim reaper type dude) and some say Hades (king of hell type dude)) and because of that, no one could die while the god was shackled, which pissed off the other Gods.
This first cheating of death will probably link into the story somehow, since we were just shown that the two main characters have died several times before. Since the others didn't see the hill of bodies, it could be when the two main characters die they come back to the time of the event that caused the life/death rift to happen? I only bring up a multiple timeline-esqe theory because if they were clones, the bodies would all be there, so they have to be cheating death another way while also having had experienced the previous runs.
Curious about the "hounds" part though, I think the author is trying to throw us off by calling Guwons seal team Hounds. Maybe the Gods who are mad have sent their hounds to punish Sisyphus (Guwon or MC) for cheating death? Or maybe it's literally what's about to happen where the hound kills MC who is the Sisyphus of the story and then they come back to life as they're unable to die? Cool concept either way

Hey guys, what about the title of the story? What does it mean? And what does it have to do with the plot? I saw some people saying that the title with this plot was amazing, but i didn't see anyone explaining. Please, help~!
