He only saw hyungjoo as a friend. And hyunwoo and iltak do laugh together, but the author rarely ever wants to focus on that now since they added a new villain to the story. We only get to see panels of them smiling but never the dialogue for it unfortunately
I actually really wanted him to end up with the redhead (im totally not crying after the episode where he left, defs not) because him and MC laughed together and they get along well after his redemption...the black haired guy doesnt laugh with MC like red does...im actually really sad and idk if I wanna keep reading cuz im just gonna be torturing myself. Woof
