But at the same time, what good is survival to live a nightmare
if you survive, you can always keep fighting. you can always strive to improve. but the moment you’re/everyone is dead, there’s nothing left. i am not saying they shouldn’t have revolted. but i am frustrated with how short sighted they are, especially considering they already live in a post-apocalyptic world/society. i also admit that no plan is 100% perfect or has 100% successful rate, but again, i just wish that as a group, they’d thought this through a little more rather than just being idealistic.
this is exactly what i meant when i said they didn’t think it through when they decided on the coup d'état. like i foresaw this outcome and talked abt it in an earlier comment. I’m frustrated with them because in their search for “freedom”, they chose the most ignorant path forward and will now pay for it with their death. What good is freedom to the dead?
