I dont think their characters changed. It was clear that the bottom had a savor concept by the way he treated the other bottom. He liked providing him money and liked when he acted cute He wanted to be seen as the protector.
Mokyeon was also always this pathetic. He us obviously obsessed with the ml and anxious attached. There was 0 reason why he was so obsessed with the ml other than obsession and the ml hitting his anxiety weaknesses. We don't know much about ml other than he's rich, serious and his quick temper. But yet because of mokyeon abounded wounds that he got as a child, him not gaf causes him to spiral and not take it well. Not a shocker, this ( no shade) how they act .
Now will this work. Yes idk how long tho. Mokyeon will become more and more anxiety driven and we don't have much insight on the ml and how he feels. Irl these don't work because this dynamic is a clear anxiety and avoidance push and pull dynamic plus there is a huge class difference.
