Im rereading bc I love this so much, and I’ve realized shakara does not trust the people in lercal. We still haven’t found out the main antagonist of the story so I’m thinking it’s someone in lercal bc wdum the walls have ears. Maybe that why shukra came back for tei bc even tho there is still a fight for the throne.
