She has a great time at the tower lol and she writes riftan letters but he doesn’t respond to them. Instead of staying the full 3-4 years tho I think they let her go like after 2 years bc of this war brewing on one of their frontlines and she reunites with him at that point. But it’s kind errrr bc she’s been telling her friends at the tower that she has a husband who loves her and she loves him so much back but when they reunite he kinda treats her offhandishly and stuff obvs bc he’s emotionally constipated but it all eventually works out ^_^
