i just checked the raws and hiro will grow his limbs back through a parasite that crawls into his body. hiro escaped airi's cage and joined the yakuza to plan on revenge. he also somehow became a mutant and gain the capability to transform into someone (can be human/animal) appearance through consuming their dna's such as drool or hair. the story went on with his side quests as a yakuza member too but it wasnt much relevant. but after planning on his revenge he came to realization that he still clung to the memories where he become airi's dog. he then took yuukun and airi's dog drool and drank it and then killed the dog and transform into it and snoop inside the house acting like a real dog. but here's the real twist: yuu kun was in love w his dog the whole time and when he tried to touch "his dog" which is just a transformed hiro, hiro transformed back into his real self. and then airi came into the scene with pure shock as she thought hiro was already dead while escaping since theres no way he'd grow limbs. but she was also somehow relieved, and then they killed yuu kun and hid from society together and nobody framed them
