Censorship for sex as a whole is a big thing in chinese media. There's been a couple uncensored ones popping up recently in commercially published manhuas but you are more likely to encounter smut in manhuas that are independently published

the censorship remains the same to all type of genre, be it straight or bl/gl, when it comes to Chinese stories, its either completely free of smut, or it there's a smut scene it will be so censored, either the scene is poetically described that you need to use your imagination to actually know what's going on or they will use various things, such as flowers, leaves or something related to their name, for example, if their name is Yu, then the censorship will be fish, something like that
