Can someone tell me if this manhwa is one of those where ml can't get over past lover and past lover reincarnated or something but it's not the same person and mc is just someone who look like the past lover?bc i hate tropes like that it feels like the character is just a substitute,my most hated trope, this one is like this????

It's not the same, because unlike Eternal Covenant where only one died and reincarnated, in Office Hero, both characters died and reincarnated, so you don't get that kind of dilemma. The lover in the past life is portrayed more as an antagonist if else.

Something happened in their past life that caused the prince to kill the hero. This part has yet been elaborated, but essentially, both got reincarnated into present time. The hero remembered his past life as he grew up. He has no desire to get involved with the prince's reincarnation, but the moment they met again, the hero noticed the prince has been cursed. So he ended up getting close with the prince again to get rid of the curse. The prince is for the most part oblivious of his past life, however, as the curse advances, he sometimes gets overtaken by his past life. They behave as separate entities for now, and it's unknown what the past life version of the prince wants, but it seems that he has made an exchange with the demon. The demon has successfully stabbed the hero, and that's the end of the season.

Technically, yes, but since you brought up Eternal Covenant, it arguably works about the same way. Ian and Brian carried the same soul, but they share different experience and memories, so does that make them two different people, or are they still one of the same?

The prince and his reincarnation shared the same body but different consciousness, and so far they are treated as separate entities with different will. The hero, on the other hand, is a lot more vague. While he has his past life memories, he is unsure if the reason why he wanted to help the prince so much is because of his past life memories. The story does address this part, but it leaves it more as a question with no answer.

That said, you don't have to worry about the complication of the past life in here, because unlike Sol who doesn't die, both the hero and the prince are reincarnated at the same time. So far, the past version of the prince is written more as an antagonist, a remnant of the past that needs to be gotten rid of in order for his current version to live normally.
