It would be really nice to see a character suggesting their partner go to therapy in a yaoi because a romantic partner is not a therapist nor is it a good substitute of a therapist. Especially if your partner is seriously hurting themselves and if you're someone who is constantly making your partner apologize to you during every conflict because of your own mental health issues, it's time to reevaluate how you should be dealing with your mental health issues.
