i wasnt prepared to see riftan ACTUALLY crying

while reading the books, since were mostly reading from maxis pov, we rarely know what goes through riftans head or what what emotion he is feeling, although its been a while, i dont think i ever read about riftan crying. there were scenes that suggested that he felt emotional pain but i always assumed his face was still somewhat stoic. seeing him in tears like that made my heart drop.

i know he still has some character growth to go through but you wont ever make me hate him
