I sobbed quietly to this manga. Not the way in which you feel your heart ripping out and want to scream. I saw the ending coming, and didn't really feel shocked. But not gonna lie- at one point, I actually thought this was all Yuugen's hallucination. Then I somewhat understood halfway that Hide wouldn't come to life. Overall, I think the main theme of the whole story was more focused on moving past the grief of losing someone. If a miracle really did happen and somehow Hide did come back to life, it might've ruined the very concept it was trying to portray. And so, as bittersweet as this ending is, I don't have any complaints against it (rebirth is a different thing, and I'm open to it¯_( ° ʖ °)_/¯)
