Because you guys get used to stories where the characters already love each other in the early chapters and has non-stop banging. This is slowburn. It doesn't depend on plot like accidental pregnancy, marking even though they haven't bonded yet, or whatever the plots are there for the couples in kmiyc and kml. They don't fall on these common plots
Where is it 'dry'? It's just slow paced and Grayson is the only one currently in love
We readers have different cup of tea, but this one is my absolute favorite, aside from they're not focusing on smut—plot wise—this is a good read.
Same. I love a good slow burn but there’s normally CHEMISTRY. Dane loves his freedom and Grayson loves the IDEA of love. And Grayson is a prick.
